To be hyperphantic is to be able to experience vivid mental imagery. This can both be extremely exciting, joyous, and helpful but it also can be distressing at times. Here I explore my own experiences of hyperphantasia and other imagery variances and how being aware and understanding these differences has helped me gain deeper knowledge of myself - and most importantly, how to look after myself.
